So here’s the whole story.

Teddy was created as a second identity for myself, club Founder - Jeffrey. Being that I made beats & also created music of my own, “Teddy” would separate the artist from the producer - thus I began to produce under the alias of Teddy Toppington. Writing & producing for countless artists, including myself, the dual identity granted me creative freedom & opened a few doors for me over the years. Most notably, I would receive my first recording contract, perform at SXSW in Austin, TX & even meet a few heroes of mine along the way.

Jeffrey & Teddy had formed a nice duo.

When it came time to create new merchandise for myself, I didn’t want to just print another hoodie that read “Jeffrey” across the front of it. Jeffrey was nice & all if you knew me but I thought, why not create a new brand? A brand that could represent all creatives & remain an extension of myself.

With that, Teddy’s Vinyl Club was born. The name Teddy had a classic, nostalgic appeal that perfectly meshed with the vintage, 90s aesthetic the brand would embody. Vinyls, candles, jazz music, film cameras, LEGOs, mid-modern furniture, coffee house vibes - everything that I appreciate packed into one place…I guess if you get it, you get it. Someone who can appreciate any of those is a friend of Teddy & a member of the club.

Just as the name Teddy provided me an identity to push the limits of my creative expression, the club will provide that freedom to others. It’s not just advice from an “expert panel” or a “social event” where everyone gathers but never truly meets. Teddy’s Vinyl Club creates a community of collaboration through in-depth conversation, diverse perspective & informational resources from creatives just like yourself. Entrepreneurs building their businesses right now, artists facing the same hurdles that you are.

Allow the club to be an extension of yourself & the community a place to grow with others. Being an artist is hard enough, there’s no blueprint. But at least it’s nice to be part of the club.
